Founded in 1920 Funtington and West Stoke WI celebrates its centenary in March 2020.

Members’ meetings are held on  the  third Wednesday of the month in the West Ashling and Funtington District Hall.   In addition to the business side of things, meetings normally include a guest speaker and finish off with refreshments.  Apart from monthly meetings  the WI runs various group activities and these include Monday morning walks (with dogs!), Painting, Reading, Craft and Canasta.  Outings are also planned –  eg theatre visits, skittles evening, lunches, trips to stately homes or open gardens etc.

The WI is an excellent way of meeting and getting to know people locally.   We currently have around 40 members and there is always room for more.
